LONDON Jemima Goldsmith has expressed her wrathfulness at the listed kick by PML-N UK outside her Richmond home on Sunday.
In a communication on Twitter, the former woman of PTI Chairman Imran Khan said on Friday that it looked like she was back in Lahore in the 90s – a reference to the time when Jemima was married to Imran Khan and lived in Lahore with her in- laws.
She wrote “ Demurrers outside my house, targeting my children, antisemitic abuse on social media …. It’s nearly like I ’m back in 90s Lahore.#PuranaPakistan”
Jemima quoted a post by former PML-N minister Abid Sher Ali in her tweet.
Abid participated a bill on his timeline publicizing that PML-N sympathizers will be gathering outside Jemima’s house in retribution to PTI’s demurrers outside Avenfield House where Nawaz Sharif, the former premier, is presently staying with his sons Hasan and Hussain Nawaz.
Over the weekend, a large number of PTI sympathizers protested outside Avenfield apartments to protest the ouster of Imran Khan through the Opposition parties’no- confidence move.
The kick was planned outside the US delegacy but PTI leaders decided to hold the demurrers outside Avenfield apartments and Pakistan High Commission. Over 50 bobbies separated PML-N and PTI activists from colliding with each other but eggs and water bottles were thrown at each other. PTI leaders said they had entered instructions directly from former PM Imran Khan and elderly PTI leaders to hold demurrers in London.
PTI has called for another kick on Saturday in London and PML-N UK has blazoned to hold a kick in Richmond outside Jemima's house to respond to PTI’s demurrers.
Jemima — whose parents were Jewish — made a reference to onlineanti-Semitic abuses which is replete and contenders have said that people who are of Jewish heritage frequently come under attack each over the world from pixies who bring up Jewish strain to denounce them. The problem ofanti-Semitism, racism, Islamophobia and gender bias are seen as global issues and social media platforms have fuelled similar trends.
Jemima has not made any political statement after the onset of Imran Khan but her sisters Zac Goldsmith, who's a UK government minister, and Ben Goldsmith have expressed support for Imran Khan, their former sisters-in- law.
Last week, the British government receded itself from Foreign Office Minister Zac Goldsmith after he interposed in Pakistani politics and twittered in support of ousted Imran Khan.
Downing Street was asked whether Zac, who's Foreign Office Minister for the Pacific and the International Environment, was speaking on behalf of the government.
A prophet responded “ With regard to Pakistan, we admire Pakistan’s popular system and we'd not get into its domestic political affairs. We've longstanding ties with Pakistan and are covering developments.”
The 10 Downing Street prophet was unfit to say whether Zac would be told to take down his tweet or make it clear it was issued in a particular capacity. Zac’s tweet remains available on his timeline.
Zac had said “ Imran Khan is a good and decent man, one of the least bribable politicians on the world stage. I've no doubt he'll be returned with a big maturity in the forthcoming choices.”
Number 10 Downing Street stressed that Zac's reflections didn't represent the UK government's position.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s deputy prophet said the UK would not get involved in Pakistan's domestic affairs, adding “ We admire Pakistan's political system.”
During Zac's crusade against London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Imran Khan had supported Zac and prompted his followers to support his election shot. Sadiq Khan had expressed his wrathfulness over Imran Khan’s support for Zac. Zac’s crusade was so controversial in nature that politicians had called it Islamophobic.
Several prominent social media druggies on Twitter have condemned the trend of holding demurrers outside the homes of political opponents.
